Effective Date of Examination Retake Waiting Periods Announced
FINRA has announced that the effective date of the shortened examination retake waiting periods previously proposed will take effective on January 19, 2027. This amendment to FINRA Rule 1210.06 will shorten the retake waiting periods for FINRA qualification examinations from 30 to 15 calendar days after the first and second attempts, and from 180 to 60 calendar days after the third and any subsequent failed attempts within a two-year period.
